Winners of the Gaston 2012 Entrepreneurial Action Team Student Contest For Business Ideas were recently announced at the Gaston County Commissioners' meeting.
John Gamble, first place, for his tutoring business proposal, “Gamble's Guides.” $2,000 scholarship.
Jonathan Bradley and
Christina Buie, second place, for proposal for hair salon called “Fantasy Hair.” $1,500 scholarship.
Nicole Gardella, third place, for a video-gaming business proposal. $1,000 scholarship.
Chandler Swanson, fourth place, for plan for “True Life Christian Bookstores.” $500 scholarship.
Ci'Era Ginyard, honorable mention, for “Tranquility Salon & Day Spa.”
Matthew Landes and
Johnathon Rodden, honorable mention, “Twisted Vision Kustoms,” a custom shop for imports and mini-trucks.
