Lakeshore Elementary in Iredell County locked its external doors this morning in response to a domestic dispute off campus, school officials said.
The dispute involved the parents of two students who attend the school, and school officials locked the external doors as a precaution. They were unlocked after a short time.
Parents were notified of the event, and no classroom doors were locked, according to Iredell-Statesville Schools spokeswoman Dawn Creason.
