A steady stream of visitors came to see and smell "Bella", the specimen of Amorphophallus titanum growing in the McMillan Greenhouse at the UNCC Botanical Gardens. The flower began opening about 9:30 p.m. Saturday, and was fully open when greenhouse staff arrived at 5:45 a.m. The flower will remain open for another couple of days, but the strong stench is all but gone.

Take a look at the flower through UNCC's live webcam in the greenhouse.
